Qualitasse offer a waste cooking oil collection service (waste vegetable oil collection) as a compliment to their drinks systems services.

We have entered this market because it became evident that many of our existing customers were the type of establishment that produced waste cooking oil and needed it disposing of in an environmentally friendly way.

The fact that we were already sending our own drivers to these locations to supply coffee, tea and consumables, made it simply good sense to offer waste vegetable oil collections at the same time, reducing the need for a separate journey each time.

This of course also led to the obvious opportunity to supply new vegetable oil to those same locations, although we do see this very much as a side-line because we do not necessarily have the buying power to achieve exceptional prices on cooking oil, unlike with our core products.

ABOUT THE SERVICE

We mainly process waste vegetable oil for use in bio-diesel and we are creating a new market for a waste product which reduces diversion to landfill or sewers (illegally). Widespread use of bio-diesel will help to cut green-house gas emissions and airborne particulate matter and our ever-growing dependence on mineral oil.

OUR WASTE OIL COLLECTION AND PROCESSING SERVICE IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND CONSERVATION CONCERNS.

We operate mainly in our "local" area, to help minimise the miles travelled and hence the carbon footprint associated with collections, but we have good relationships with collectors covering the whole of the UK.

Our local areas include; Hampshire (Basingstoke, Fleet, Camberley, Andover, Reading etc), Wiltshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, Surrey, Sussex and in to Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset.
